About the Project

Creation and implementation of a dedicated competition application on Facebook for a brand from the jewelry industry.

The contest mechanism was based on users posting photos of the brand’s jewelry. Entries went to a specially prepared contest gallery in the app. Voting was done by liking the photos, and the participants with the most votes won prizes.

The app was designed to maximize community engagement – it allowed content and results to be shared, which encouraged organic viral spread of information about the action.

Campaign results (7 days):
– nearly 7 000 new fans fanpage,
– more than 7 000 unique email addresses acquired for further marketing communication,
– a high level of community involvement,
– no need to support the campaign with additional advertising measures.

The project brought real benefits to the brand in the form of an expanded customer base and the long-term possibility of their active engagement.
