A self-mailer business package in A3 format with double-sided printing. When folded, the final format of the package is A5.

A selfmailer is a type of mailer that combines the characteristics of a letter and a leaflet. It consists of a single sheet of paper, folded and secured (glued) so that it can serve as an envelope.

Selfmailers have a better chance of opening. With a traditional letter in an envelope, there is a risk that the recipient will throw out the parcel before opening it. Selfmailers are more visually attractive and immediately available, making them more likely to be read.

Selfmailers can take many forms, so they can stand out from standard envelopes.
