Selfmailer DL

About the Project

A self-mailer is a type of direct mail piece that does not require an envelope. It is a letter and envelope in one, folded and sealed to DL format. The selfmailer is opened by tearing open the vertical perforations located on two sides of the mailpiece. Another option for closing the selfmailer can be labels, where it is also worth using perforations to make opening easier.

The advantage of the self-mailer is that it is simple and economical, because by choosing this form of postage we can dispense with the envelope. The production process of one piece is usually shorter and cheaper. All thanks to the fact that the selfmailer is both a letter and a package.

When the selfmailer is opened, the recipient has direct access to the information. Additional items can be considered for inclusion, as the permanent closure will prevent them from falling out during distribution.

Detailed product specifications:

  • selfmailer – 297 x 202.5 mm,
  • raw material chalk 130g,
  • 4/4 printing,
  • 2 vertical perforations,
  • black duplex personalisation,
  • folding of letter in ‘C’ up to 202.5 x 99 mm,
  • gluing the letter on both sides with glue outside the perforation.
