About the Project

A self-mailer for a pet food and supplement company. Selfmailer is a shipping package and a letter in one. The sides of the selfmailer are opened after perforation. When unfolded, we get a full-size A4 letter with full printing and personalization.

Selfmailer has several advantages over a traditional letter in an envelope:

• Lower production and shipping costs because a selfmailer is a single-item shipment.
• Instant visibility. The lack of an envelope means the message is visible right away.
• Higher open rate. The distinctive shape and full printing encourage opening.
• Faster to get to the heart of the offer. Ideal for short, sales messages: promo, discount, new.
• A more “informal,” more human reception. Often perceived as a card, not “official correspondence.”
