Fundraising board
About the Project
Fundraising board is a physical tool that helps to raise funds in a real way. With it, you can encourage support for your initiative and increase the involvement of the local community or businesses.
The fundraising board is made of a plate with numerous holes that allow for placing coins of different denominations. The holes form a symbolic shape – e.g. a heart – which strengthens the emotional message and draws attention. The board is easy to assemble. It is reusable. After filling up, it can be emptied and filled again.
Fundraising boards work like a “social proof.” They show that others have already supported the initiative and lower the threshold for further donors to decide. You can promote the board online (“Join the Donors’ Board!”) and then display it in a physical space: at a school, foundation, library, hospice, or church.
How does it work?
- The sign catches the eye and engages emotionally.
- By-passers throw in coins, which they often carry loose. The reaction is spontaneous and immediate.
- Visual effect of progress. The filling field strengthens engagement and encourages contribution, in accordance with the social proof principle.
- Ideal for high-traffic locations: schools, hospitals, local events, parishes, government offices, shopping centers.
Why is it worth it?
- You can raise funds without barriers – even a small amount counts. Many small coins have a real effect.
- You activate the community – people feel that they are doing something together, they are contributing to the common good.
- You increase the project’s visibility – the board not only collects money, but also promotes the fundraising goal.
Flexibility of use – it can be easily adapted graphically and communicationally to a specific campaign.
